I did notice that the conference was especially good this year, but I'm not sure which speaker you're referring to. They were all very insightful.

Really? The one during Tuesday's luncheon, m'boy! You seemed quite rapt at his speech. ...Or perhaps it was the foie gras they happened to be serving at the time; I happened to have two plates of the stuff, myself. Scrumptious.

You must mean Alan Madlower. He is a very gifted speaker, though he did seem to go on for a very long time. I usually prefer short and to the point.
