I did notice that the conference was especially good this year, but I'm not sure which speaker you're referring to. They were all very insightful.

(Please give my regards to Miss Abigail)

Really? The one during Tuesday's luncheon, m'boy! You seemed quite rapt at his speech. ...Or perhaps it was the foie gras they happened to be serving at the time; I happened to have two plates of the stuff, myself. Scrumptious.

And yes, I would have let Abigail know but she seems to have found your response already. She seems quite flattered that you remember her, I'd say.

You must mean Alan Madlower. He is a very gifted speaker, though he did seem to go on for a very long time. I usually prefer short and to the point.

Good evening, Marvin. I trust you're well, if you managed to stumble onto the internet without losing your glasses.

Oh, hi Mr. Grossberger! Or should I say...Ms. Secretary?

Anyway, long time no see, sir. Glad to hear you're still alive and kickin' it!

Kicking it...? I suppose I am, yes.

Thank you, Sir. And I should hope you and your men are keeping our city's streets nice and safe?

Abigail isn't the one answering these responses, however. It would be far too taxing to have her transcribe your replies, to write out a suitable response on paper, and then have her transmit that message onto the computer. One must always think of efficiency, you know!

We're doing our best out here, sir! Rest assured.

Er, well, please give my regards to Abby then!

Oh hello there, sir! I am very curious about your stories about your youth! Could you please tell me one?

With pleasure, m'dear.

*Ah-HHHHEM!*It was the summer of 1969, July. I was sixteen, at the time. American troops were just beginning to withdraw from Vietnam. At home on American soil individuals were glued to their television sets for two reasons: firstly for the moon landing, which was set to occur at any day, and secondly for the 1969 Miss Universe Pageant--which, to a sixteen year old being enraptured by the allures of the other sex in full force, was nearly as important an event as the former ( ... )

...That's a pretty amazing story! It reminds me of some of the boys I go to school with!
