My thoughts are with your family... we do get so attached to these little beasts, be it cats or dogs... I hope the vet will be able to treat her.

Thanks dear! It's amazing how quickly we get attached, isn't it? We all bonded very quickly, and are on pins and needles to hear how she is :(

I hope she comes out of it okay... but Parvo is seriously bad news. K'yarr contracted it just before I adopted her, as did several of her littermates. K'yarr made it through with a lot of had feedings, fluids, and hands on TLC. Not all of her littermates were so lucky. I hope Snoopy Bella makes it through okay.

If/when she does... does your brother understand just what he got himself into with a JRT? They are, generally speaking, VERY active dogs that need a LOT of exercise and constant stimulation... They make great working dogs... and great working dogs generally make really *lousy* pets for the inexperienced and unwary...

Give him my number. Call if you guys need help.

*hugs*

Thanks, we do know what she's up against. The vet seems to think that we got her in early, so we have our fingers crossed. Everyone here is just crushed that she's sick.

I don't know if he knew or not with the JRT, but he did a *lot* of research before hand, and he's moving into a house with an experienced dog owner, who has another dog in the house, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed with that..

I'll give him your number - thanks so much!
