Kittens rock! If I had a traditional apartment with "rooms" and "doors" instead of the probably-illegal converted carriage house which I inhabit, and if I lived closer, I'd gladly house one or two.
Cat Welfare is filled beyond capacity, and I haven't really been proactive in finding homes for them otherwise. I don't know anyone who wants a cat, and I just don't trust random Craigslist strangers. The guys downstairs said they were thinking of taking one (not holding my breath, though), and there's one I might actually keep. I've gotten used to having them around, even though they eat like machines and they're BATSHIT INSANE, especially when I'm trying to sleep. They're sweet, though.
I've named them Bart, Lisa & Maggie, and Maggie likes to suck on my clothes, something I've never seen before. She's the one I might keep. She is the cutest and that clothing-sucking thing makes my heart gooey.
Dammit, I knew naming them would be a big step toward getting attached.
