I've finally started considering getting a DSLR. This will involve a huge step-up in features from my film SLRs, as they are both manual-focus ... i got them in high school and college, and i put all my money into good lenses, not features on the camera bodies

I ended up putting down the cash for the DSLR when I realized the main reason I don't shoot my SLR anymore is because it takes 2 weeks to get the slide film developed. I borrowed someone else's DSLR for about a month and fell in love with photography all over again. That was pretty much the deciding factor for me.
