I arrived Thursday morning following a 10-hour flight out of Seattle. I didn't manage to sleep even a wink on the plane, leaving me plenty of time to read two ancient science fiction novels in one sitting. ...
After landing, I took a fabulously expensive cab ride to my downtown London hotel, the Copthorne Tara Hotel, just off Kensington High Street. I was REALLY jetlagged on Thursday, but I managed to wander around the neighborhood a bit. ... My belly filled with nasty fried potatoes, I went back to the hotel and sunk into sweet, sweet sleep.

Or at least I tried to. Just like last time, I'm finding that jetlag is REALLY kicking my ass. I've been here four days, now, and I'm STILL not 100% acclimated. I find myself getting tired in the middle of the day and wide awake in the middle of the night. Not an ideal situation.

I fly UK/USA quite a bit, and the US->UK flights are always worst, especially from the west coast.

Here's how I minimize the jetlag ass-kicking experience:

Thanks for the tips. I hope I get a hang of this some day. Even last night I had trouble sleeping. Here's hoping today is the day I finally get it right!
