So as my business has moved into a fairly stable place and I can pay all my bills, I realize I now have this thing called "spare cash" sometimes. Growing up ass poor, I never really though I'd be able to travel, and so it's with some surprise and excitement that I realize travel is totally within my reach now. My only need now is someone to go

Lemurs! Madagascar! Maybe we should consider this. In the past, I've been reluctant to travel with many of my friends because I like to travel much rougher than they would choose. Travel with Brian works perfectly because he doesn't much care where we stay or how we travel. But perhaps we could establish some parameters and figure out a way to take a trip.

I *think* I have no problems traveling rough. I'm pretty indifferent to the where and how as well. I actually think I might prefer "rough" travel, as it would feel more involved with the place I'm in.

You could always stop by SF. If you time it right you can even hang out with Marissa down here too. :)

rainier summit: I passed it up years ago and have regretted it ever since.

Ireland would be beautiful, if a tad cool. I want to search for fairies and the great Oak.
Belize: I hear it has great snorkeling. I LOVED snorkeling in Cancun and will jump at a chance to go again.
Egypt would be- wonderful; I have something of an obsession about ancient egypt. but it's hot hot hot.

I also like the idea of hunting for waterfalls. They are enchanting. doesn't lake victoria have a waterfall?

in NYC, day of show tickets...they have TKTS, discounted tickets for day of show sales. in times square, i believe in the lobby of the Marriott Marquis on Times Square...get there early, wait in line, pay only cash.
