2010 was hectic -- I ended 2009 homeless and sleeping in my sister's guest room, finally got a place and a roommate in Jan 2010, had to move out at the end of Feb because of interpersonal differences, and lived with a crazy woman for a landlady (shared house)until Nov, when her house was foreclosed on and I was homeless again. I'd like to know what is different? I've only been to Dallas airport, the security people tried to ruin all my infrared film and in fact ruined several rolls of it, so I'll never forgive them, and that is about it for Texas for me.

Whereas I spent my first 25 years in Texas, remember when Love Field was the only airport in Dallas, and will be a Texan to the day I die. But I like MD, too. Because my ages and life circumstances were so different in the two states, I don't have a good sense of how much of the difference in experience flows from my own changes, rather than differences between the cultures/states.
