Grease under my nails

I got asked the other day how I manage to keep my nails.  I don't, really- they grow out for a while, and then I'll have a week or so where they all break.  Mainly, I keep them because I worked SO hard to kick the habit of biting them, and so now it's kind of a point of pride with me that I can grow them long- even if they do break a lot, and get

Can't say I have. That's seriously impressive!

I like what you said about having grease under your nails - I feel the same way about the dirt under mine after a day of hard work in the garden. :D

I'm so glad it's not just me! I really do feel like I get such a sense of confidence and accomplishment... It's like there's tangible evidence that I can take with me for a little while (or something like that...).
