Yea, I'm with you re Hillary. Not necessarily a believer that Obama can get the job done, mainly because of a severe lack of experience, but I just don't feel Hillary. OTOH, my husband loves her. So much for genital voting.

Although can I just say- Huckabee WTF?? Damnit, I was hoping to NOT have to move to Canada if the Dems lost again.

I've been mostly pulling for Obama in my heart. Edwards seems like a great guy, but put him next to Obama and he comes off a little like oatmeal. Filling and nutritous, but kinda bland. Not his fault. Edwards and Clinton without Obama and I think Edwards would look far better. But I don't think he's got nearly as much raw charisma as Obama. And Hilary, bless her chilly soul, doesn't have the charisma that her husband had on his worst day.

So much charisma that I half wanted to see him as our first "laddie." Ha ha.

If you want raw star potential, it's Obama the whole way. Whether or not that will or could or might translate into good presidential material will have to be seen, natch. But damn. At this point I'd vote for any democrat that wasn't Kerry.

The democrats have let me down before, but not nearly as much as the republicans have.

/end quasi informed political rant.

Once I recover from this insane exhaustion, I'm hoping to write a big post about what I think Obama did right in Iowa (I worked with his campaign) and also why I think Iowa is a good idea for a first state--but right now my head is filled with haze and my heart with joy over a win, finally!!!!
