So there is this boy, I have been in a relationship with him for a year. Previously we had known each other and dated. We are virtually a perfect match. Its little things that we fight about. I think we've had maybe one or two legitimate reasons for a big fight. And no he never takes the blame, there is always some reason why it is my fault, no matter if I was the one who was mad first. I will be in Spain for 2 and a half months, and I wish that we could take a break, however that is out of the question he will just dump me because he will asume that I will cheat on him like every other girl ever does.

aw yes and I can totally understand where you are coming from. In my opinion though clair broke about 50 of the break rules. I was pretty upset with her during that time.

wow lady we really are twins! steve and i have the same "dilemas" all the time and i always feel like he places the blame on me but really what it comes down to is do you WANT to be with him and is it worht working through fights? i mean im not saying its right that he blames you and puts the blame on you but i know you are like me and i take things more personally than people mean them to be, could this be a cause for you feeling like its your fault???...

however on the note of a break i feel like they are a way to wean yourself off of someone and htat they typically end in a break up, but i think that if you want a break from him and if he says he loves you then he should be able to wait for you to come back from spain and figure things out you know? i mean if its meant to be it will work and if its heart break you will heal...
