First step to robot conversion complete. Are those pins going to eventually come out or will they stay? The twistie-ties make me think they plan to take them out, but then again I'm no surgeon.

OT but I take it the Jenadelle commission worked out alright since the arts has appeared in icon form?

And my icon sad faces at your warm Krispy Kream breakfast since the one that used to be more or less down the street here left a while ago. MMmm doughnuts...

It...sort of worked. I got that icon but I got an origami one that...her journal declared completed but that I have not seen. I should pester her on that ( ... )

Flapjack is indeed a grand sadface sailorhat boy.

Hooray for no sad marrow leakage!

Since muscles like to get lazy and start atrophying right away it's good that you didn't end up with a cast. Did they start you on physical therapy for this?

With whoever you've seen, have they mentioned massaging the scar tissue? When I had my knee surgery, my PT guy brought this up. You probably don't want to do it much at this point with how angry the incision area looks, but still.

The rubbin's are so you break up the scar tissue so it isn't able to settle where it shouldn't and cause things like decrease in flexibility.

Just did some googling and it looks like this page explains things better than I could, lol. http://www.strive4impact.com/massage_files/Articles/massage_scar_tissue.html

I've been kinda subconsciously doing that anyway, sweet! The mashed up tissuage in there gives me grief so I placate it with fingertips. My flexibility defines me!

I am assuming it applies to the muscley bits too, with their mad dash for atrophy and general couch potato aspirations? (I am still pre-click).

The skin and the stuff under it feels...dead. It's strange. I can feel the scar/incision area with my right hand, but not with my left elbow, like I have the privilege of dicking with a stranger's battlewound. I think it has to do with the metalwork under it as far as the itching and feeling like I can't feel the familiarity of the bone...I'm also somewhat scared of the fact that my skin doesn't just slide over the wound like my right elbow. I'm afraid to force it too much.

Seaking makes a good entrance but, sadly, does not follow through as inspiringly :<

Also I'll have all sorts of time to get my rubbins in since they're going to tear me open to get the stuff they left in there. Railroad spikes, I has them.

Ow, pins. Ow ow ow.

Glad they'll come out eventually. *shudder*

I am slightly amused at the use of medical twisty ties, however.
