album recommendation request
so, tomorrow, misshellion and i are heading to virgin mega-store to purchase several albums for my listening pleasure. i don't regularly purchase albums, but songs here and there, and i'm looking for some new material. as such:

please allow me to remind you that women were only granted the right of suffrage in the 1920s. here are a list of fellow women who were imprisoned for petitioning president woodrow wilson for the right to vote. please remember the struggle of others to give you this privilege--and don't disenfranchise yourself by staying home this election year. -

Beijing 2008
having lived in beijing for three summers, i don't think that the US team should be apologizing for this, at all. additionally, an article in The Week, volume 8, issue 372, on pg 13, describes beijing's air quality as 40 times worse than LA's air quality, and informs the reader that athletes are running in the hallways of their hotels bc the air ( Read more... ) -
