After an hour or so of frustration last might, this morning I managed to check in for my flights on Monday night, and to assure myself that the aisle seats promised were indeed mine

Singapore Airlines flights are usually pretty comfortable, and I have aisle seats on both flights, which for me is important to comfort. I must remember not to drink wine: going above the ground seems to do very strange things to every wine I've ever had on an aircraft. Spirits are safer! I have books, iPod, netbook stocked with fanfic - I usually can't sleep, but I'll have things to take my mind off the excruciating boredom of long flights.
With any luck the plane will be on time in Sydney and I'll be able to catch the 8:15 am bus to Canberra that I'm booked on.
Once home, I shall probably spend most of my time napping for a fortnight, apart from necessary bill paying, doctor visit and so on.

Yes, tonight I'm off (10:05 pm flight) home via Singapore. Some 48 hrs later I might be home. I shall then go to bed, I expect!
