We are very sad to report that Leni Jess passed away suddenly on the afternoon of Thursday 24 May 2012. Leni had a mild heart attack a few days earlier, although she thought it was a different issue. After her doctor received test results, Leni was told to go to hospital. The next day, Leni had a relatively routine procedure, but she died about

Oh, no. I don't think we ever crossed paths, but I certainly recognise her from years in and out of Potterfandom.

Oh no! What awful news. Thank you, Anne and Russell, for letting us all know.

I met her in London last month when she was over here at the start of her trip. It was always good to meet up with her on occasions like that, and discuss our mutual and different interests.

She will be much missed.

(P.S. You might consider putting her LJ/DW onto 'legacy' status so that it won't be deleted, as I'm sure many people would like to re-read her entries and fic.)

I'm so sorry to hear this, she will be very much missed. It was lovely being able to spend some time with her on her UK trip, but it's quite a shock to think it will be the last time. Thank you so much for all your efforts to let us know, and I second Beth's request for a suitable charity to donate to.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. I didn't know Leni_jess personally, but I know her stories. She will be missed.
