Ze Mexican.

I'm reminded of a dialogue from The Mexican.

Samantha: I have to ask you a question. It's a good one so think about it. If two people love each other, but they just can't seem to get it together, when do you get to that point of enough is enough?

Jerry: Never.

i feel that it's easier said than done.
in reality, it probably doesn't work that way.
at least, for me.

Yup I agree, it's a lot more complicated than just saying 'never' and continue to go on. It's a decision of two people whether to go on, 'n they must have strong mutual bond. Besides, there're different levels and different ways of love.

If one party has the notion of "enough is enough", it is more than enough a reason to call it quits. Sticking on in the game is sheer pride and stubborness to work things out on a unilateral level.

If "enough is enough" is not some heat-of-the-moment notion, and is well thought out calmly, then YES. No point in trying.

Nevertheless, every relationship needs quarrels, for the longevity of it. If otherwise, it'd be quite boring 'n too good to be true.

Things should improve with every fight, and if it's not the case and gets worse, it probably is not wise to go on.
