I think her keen insight and perception are proven by the fact that, on the same day that she grounds you for New Year's Eve, she tells you to get a life. Almost priceless.

I've been trying to figure out this new years eve thing, but Rachel's mom won't let us use their place and Ruby's dad won't let us use their place. So I ask my parents if we can all just use our place to leave our stuff and go up to the playground by my old school. As soon as she hears that she starts freaking out, so I get pissed off and said "Fine. I won't." and she says "Don't use that tone of voice with me." So I try to explain my point of veiw, but at this time, im pretty frusterated. So she decides to egg me on: "Why don't you get a life." So I spin around and say: "I have a fucking life. Where the fuck's yours?" Because honestly, she's fighting with a kid, and she knows how depressed I am lately. So then she says "If you say one more negetive thing, you're grounded. So just shut up, or spend the evening upstairs" Which is fine with me. So I get ready to storm out of there and I hear: "Yeah, keep walking." So I turn around, flip her off and say "Fuck you"

Looking back on it, it probably wasn't the best choice of words.
