Mar 02, 2009 14:36

Ted and I just got back from Alpine. Aspen fell in love with the fresh mountain air.
Here in Tucson it has been in the low 90's. What's up with that?!?
We will be moving into our home in Alpine the first of April.
Here is a late afternoon shot of Aspen. The wind in her hair, the smell of spring in the air.

I just love "earthy"
Ted and I are so ready to move in. It has been a long haul this year. All the monthes of driving back and forth, seeing doctors every other week, and waiting on pins and needles for results from the doctors.
I must say I am ready to live in a quite mountain town, no road rage, no city noises..... ahhhhhhhh!

Thank you Mercy.
It has been a very long year, but well worth it. I can't believe it is all coming to a wonderful end. Both Ted and I feel like we are at the end of a race. We are exhausted and so ready to cross the finish line.....
We so love the mountains, and all the incrediable wild life that lives all around us. We saw one red fox outside our rental two nights in a row. Three mornings in a row we saw a pair of gray foxes eating sun flower seeds... What an awesome honor to watch these little ones so close and personal. ~_~

Thank you Dee.
We are so ready to settle in. This morning when we left Alpine it was 16 degrees. Ted and I wore our warm coats with lots of layering. By the time we arrived in Tucson we had stripped down to our T-shirts and jeans....
OMG! Tucson is in the 90's!!!!!!
Strange weather!

It was around the 90s up here too, apparently there is some pressure system that is making things unseasonably hot and the temperatures should be dropping in the next few days again.
