Growing up..sucks

I write in this thing about once every blue moon, well that time has come again. A lot has happened, not a whole lot worth mentioning. My best friend is gone for 4 months..that just sucks kahunas. Granted Costa rica is a friggin awesome place (i'm guessing) but he should be home to play with me sigh. So I'll just get this over with

Most people don't know what they want to do when they're 18. Hell, I'm already 3/4 done with a Journalism/Poli. Sci. degree, and now I'm second guessing whether I want to do either career field after graduation.

It just comes with time and experience. At school, you'll take all sorts of different classes and meet different people, and they will all open your eyes to new opportunities for your future. Trust me: most of my friends, even those who are graduating this semester, have no idea what they want to do.

It's funny when you talked about the parents asking you about what your going to do with your life. I am glad to see that I'm not the only one who dosen't know and is not in a rush to find out. Anyway it's good to hear from you buddy!!!!

No fears - Bart just figured out what he wanted to be six weeks ago. I kid you not. And he's 25. So you have plenty of time. Now the only problem, of course, is figuring out what to respond with when people ask that pesky problem - I'd recommend something like "Not in a dental chair getting my teeth drilled by an 18 year old, sucka!" Okay, maybe not. Miss you!

Hey..thanks for that. That made my day. I actually think about you quite often, especially when there are no paper towels in the bathroom after I washed my hands so i tell people I found a quarter in the toilet :) But seriously, I'll give you a call sometime. My schedule is turning out to be pretty dang easy this semester, so I'm sure I'll find time to push #2 on my speed dial.
Oh, btw, I was thinking about what you could be when you grow up. I decided you should be an art major and draw your famous ducks for the rest of your life. What do you think?
