So many changes at work! It's unbelievable! Stoilo mne uiti na vacation, kak na tebe. Three people in our group are leaving the company, including my boss. The changes were announced last Friday and everyone is still shocked. The first thing that came out of my boss' mouth when I walked in today was whether I checked my e-mail yet. Budapest welcomed us with intense heat. We were able to fry ourselves the very first day and are now slowly recovering from these "painful" memories. We took a bus from Vienna to Budapest which was a lot cheaper than the train and very efficient. I fell asleep for 3 hours, openned my eyes and found myself in Budapest. Checked out pretty much everything Prague has to offer - the Castle, overview of the city, the atomic clock, Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square, etc. Everything is gorgeous! We were lucky to have such a beautiful sunny day. Both of us even got some sunburns around the shoulders. All the attractions and sights here are concentrated in one area ( Read more... )

After a 4.5 hour train ride from Berlin to Prague, we're finally enjoying ourselves in the Czech capital. The train ride was bumpy, apparently we sat in the 1st class ( and I was wondering why the train was so empty...) and when we got our tickets checked, had to move to the less comfortable second class.
