Sounds like you put a lot of thought into your list ^.^ Good luck with completing it!

What a great list! Nice mix of goals.

Spend 1 evening a week with no television or computer.

Let me know how that goes! I'd have a REAL hard time giving up the computer for a whole evening...silly me. Even when I go out with friends or entertain...which is when I get the closest to giving it up...the first thing I do afterwards is check my e-mail and (usually) my LJ. Oh, well. FanSee

Thanks! It won't be easy but... last week there was one night I was just too tired and I really enjoy to read (as you can probably see by the books part of my list lol) so I imagine that is what I will spend my nights doing :P So I think I will just tell people don't expect to see me on Tuesdays :P I find if no one is expecting anything from me I don't feel so bad taking a night off.

Good list! And there's going to be an HP theme park? I'm definitely going to have to inform my obsessed friends about that one!

Also, for a Jane Austen book I would recommend either Pride & Prejudice or Sense & Sensibility-- I've read four of her books so far, and found those two to be the most readable. (I'm partial to P&P myself--the banter between the characters is really entertaining for me.)

Thank you! There is, I am quite excited about it being an obsessed fan myself. Don't know the exact details but I am almost certain it's set to open 2010 which works as my 1001 days end in December 2010.

As for the Austen, I think I may go with P&P because I watched the movie recently and it wasn't bad. The reason why that one is stamped with a try is that anything labled "romance" generally makes my eyes begin to roll (bad for trying to read with them) :P I have never finished Jane Eyre and think I never will. But I am a fan of banter and so I think I will trust you and go with P&P :P

Oh, I didn't like Jane Eyre either. I had to finish it because it was a summer reading assignment with targeted questions-- my teachers were sneaky like that. I actually avoided Jane Austen for years because I kept mixing her up with the Bronte sisters. I usually roll my eyes at romance too, unless it's done very well and not mushily, and the relationship with Elizabeth and Darcy falls into that category for me. (It helps that she hates him for half the story, of course, as you probably know from the movie.) And you'll probably love Mr. Bennet- he's delightfully sarcastic about almost everything.

Oh yay, great to hear! That's the same reason I have put it off too. So good to know someone else has been there and it's worked for them. Now I am glad I put it on my list.
