tutorial: separating music from dialogue for snazzy sounding voiceovers

Jun 03, 2010 21:29

So I wanted to use voiceovers in my new vid but the music playing over the particular conversation I was using sounded obvious and icky once I added it to the vid. Did a little searching and found some really helpful links at vidding_tech! So I thought I would summarize and simplify it for anyone else who needed it :)

said simplified summary... )

Can you not do it because you don't have Adobe Premiere?

Aw I'm sorry. I knew that would be the reason this wouldn't work for most people. Well, you're the first person I call if I find a different way to edit :)

I'm using the DVD Audio Extractor, which works a treat. Free for 30 days, but worth the money if you use voiceovers a lot. There is a tutorial on 's journal, check it out
