It starts there, then when you come of college age; the recruiters sell your information to credit card companies. You have opened a new world of pain :( Prepare to learn how to quicky filter the emails and junk mail. I use a bayesian AI filter with a darknet. that might help you.

Imagine how I felt. That flood of useless information started rising around my ankles sometime my sophomore year. It STILL peters in at least one or two days a week.

Today I got home to find I had seven emails. Six of which were from colleges. What the f.

My total's up to 90 now in the past twenty-four hours.

It's getting out of hand. Soon they'll just start shoving them into my windows and every crack they can find and fill my house until it lyses from the mass of letters. Hah. . .as if a house could lyse. Foolish biology terms.

Um word. Ever sinse the ACT, practice ACT, practice SAT, or registering at collegeboard.com (which acutllly is a super sight) You get about 5732049832094 pieces of mail every day. Even as a sophmore. This one college(univarsity of evanston) keeps telling me they understtand the only reason i am not replying is because i am so busy with school, and theylook forward to my reply. haha.

I am in the same boat with you. Grand Valley sent me a letter saying they haven't got my application. And I get about 3-4 letters a day from colleges and things like that.
