If you're into neo-Classical stuff, check out Chris Thile's album Not All Who Wander Are Lost and Phil Keaggy's Beyond Nature. Keaggy needs no introduction. Thile was the mandolin player with Nickel Creek. He's floated around from one band/project to another since Nickel Creek broke up, but this instrumental album (recorded over 10 years ago with Bela Fleck and a number of other similarly accomplished musicians) is his most underrated standout work.
And speaking of Bela Fleck, his album Moto Perpetuo is a collection of classical music arranged for bluegrass instrumentation, and as the title suggests, every track, whether fast or slow, is constantly moving and churning. It's pretty terrific.
