I can understand that. We didn't do anything really to commemorate Pearl Harbor or any other major event that changed the world. D-Day is another good example. I mean, we learned about it in school, but we never acknowledged an anniversary really.
It's good to remember the day, but I don't think we need to stop what we're doing to honor it. I think we do need to move forward, and maybe this is a way of doing it.
