Actually, Holy Saturday traditionally has the biggest service of the Church year - the Easter Vigil. It is one of the oldest services of the Church. For an example of the service, look at ELW pg 266 and following. It is a spectacular and beautiful service and has become one of my favorites (once I was old enough to appreciate all 2 hrs or so of it...). It includes 7-12 readings from holy history, baptisms (when possible - this used to be THE service at which to be baptized after the time of preparation), a celebration of light and Holy Communion. If you ever get a chance to attend/participate in a Vigil, jump on it!

He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
