Emotional Range

We don't always display the emotional range we're capable of. That would be fucking exhausting. But sometimes when you see friends going through shit and they're forced to temper their ranges, you make a decision to go through the fluctuations with them. I guess that's what empathy really is

I've never dealt well with people who have a wide emotional range.

I'm pretty much a robot.

That's my modus operandi as well, but I sometimes feel human. Usually I run with it until someone asks me why I'm not being myself.

It's ironically often asked in situations where the expectation is that I be otherwise.

I like LJ for giving me a peek into a bunch of different people's daily lives.

That's cool, people should do what they want to do. I don't generally care about peoples' minutiae, especially people I won't likely meet.
