General Engineering, eh? My powers of persuasion must have worked, muahahahaha! Oh wait, I don't seem to have any. Hmm, yes, well, I'll actually be home for good in about 7 weeks, so feel free to ask questions if you want.
And congrats on getting the registration figured out. I always hate having to deal with those people, especially when it seems they are just magically making up things. As for books: Used editions bought online. I usually save 50% or more every semester (When the book total pushes $400 for new, that's a beautiful thing). Don't be afraid of the 'Eastern Economy Edition,' LOL.
In general, I've found that Amazon marketplace (when you buy the textbook from individual people through Amazon.com) is the cheapest, but the weblink above is always the smartest place to start. E-mail the professors ahead and get ISBN numbers.
