He takes a sharp breath in, glancing from the man - real man, goodbye vision - 's hands, to his weapon, to those hands again. Glares at Squall's blade. ]
Won't - won't cut well.
[hesitates between staying still or moving away, finally looking up. For his own part, the curse is simple: his 'soul' is tired. He was worn out before he was ever born, he's that tired.]

You should be thankful when there's no war. There's plenty of better things to do than fight. War just leads to suffering, after all.

It's not like I don't know that. Even though sometimes there's no choice.

I just feel like, if there's got to be a war, I should be the one fighting. But maybe that's not really any different from wanting it.
