So sad, but so good, too. I love this story. I think I may have to just go back and start from the beginning (again).

Aww, I'm glad to hear it! I love this one a lot myself! I could go for a reread too, I think. :)

I just can't let my reading of such a good story detract from working on my own stories. I'm really good at using other fics as an excuse. ("bad, captain. bad.").

Looking forward to more.

Ugh, I love how sweet Arizona and Callie are even with this heartbreaking mess going on. And I can't get enough of how much the kids adore Arizona.
Thanks for another great chapter!

Aww, well thank you for reading it! I'm glad you're enjoying it even though it's not sunshine and puppies right now.

I feel just so sad for Callie and especially the kids - that they have to go through this is horrible - Owen has three tiny humans that will be left without him - So sad!! I'm hoping for a miracle here! But it doesn't sound like it's going to happen ( ... )

Losing a parent is horrible, yes. :/ No comment on the miracle.

Well, where they're at, what they're dealing with, getting along really is the only choice. And Teddy's not looking to make things harder on Callie or the kids. She's known where she stands with Owen for a long time. This isn't the time or place to push anything.

I know he hasn't been around as much in this one, but he's still her boy! They've got each other's backs.

It's a tough situation. Callie's dealing with a lot and Arizona's trying to help. Everybody's doing the best they can.

Well, the kids exist and aren't going anywhere, so Arizona's got to adapt or leave, and she's not leaving. She's adapting faster than she expected to because she loves them.

:) Glad to hear it.

Which is great - I guess my point was that her whole life she never wanted to be a parent - Callie and her even had a civil conversation about it where Callie understood and now only a couple weeks later she loves Callie's kids like her own and is happy to be a step-parent? Just seems fast to me - Maybe I'm sulky because in one of this stories I'd like to see Arizona care for the kids but not actually parent them - personal preference I guess!
