didn't know i had a ticket for the blindsided boat, but i did. i don't know why i wasn't expecting nick, but i wasn't AND the parentals not knowing = WHAT?! love it. but i REALLY loved this:
"Each of their bedrooms was proudly displayed, Callie and Arizona's room indicated with a hooked thumb over the shoulder on the way back downstairs."

Well, Arizona got a bit blindsided too, so you're not alone there. :) When you're got cool toys etc in your own room then your mom's room is pretty boring.

Love it!! Arizona and the kids are great together super sweet scene and I'm really intrigued about Nick's arrival and the Robbins arrival!! Can't wait for next

Interesting to bring Nick into the story. I'm guessing he's still going to die as the Cancer still sounds so advanced as it was on the show. Hopefully she'll be there though this time if that happens

Well, it's supposed to be interesting, right? We'll see how it goes for Nick. Callie's on the case and Arizona's not going anywhere either way.

No, they're just being good parents. I wouldn't say that Arizona's changed out of the blue but her parents haven't been around to see it, so they're bit surprised. They'll come around though. And either way, it's not about what they want for their daughter but what she wants for herself.

She's not trying to take anyone's place - she's doing her best to help kids who are hurting because she loves them, not because she's dying to be a parent. All Callie cares about is that the woman she loves loves her children. And Arizona doesn't have a word for how she relates to the kids but the word stepmom freaks her out. She loves them and doesn't feel compelled to put title on it.

It's in the next chapter (as I recall) :D

As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. Thought it was very real how A's parents were quite guarded and apprehensive about the kiddie situation. This was so much more believable rather than have the 'rents give a group hug immediately. Rest assured, though, I have no doubt C&B will be in love with the kiddos in no time flat!

So it never came up that A was dating C or the fact that she had moved out of her apartment...and in with C and Company? Hmmm. Not sure without going back to reread this in its entirety (which I may anyway) but in this fic, does she talk with her parents frequently?

Loved A's declaration of love for the kids and C. And such a tender moment between the two immediately following. You do sweet really well!!

So Christina said she and C were gonna save his life? I certainly hope so!! Would like to see Callie be Arizona's white knight and save Nick!!

I'm glad to hear it! They'll come around once they see how much Arizona and the kids mutually love each other. :)

Well it was busy for them all, Arizona with Callie and her parents trying to take care of Nick. It hasn't really come up in this one, but I think probably a bit less than in canon. She's a bit more buttoned up in this verse - playing things impossibly a bit closer to the vest.

:) I liked that bit myself, so I'm glad you appreciated it.
