Thanks for everybody's help! I just sent in the order to the printing company, 250 seemed a decent count for the cost, tho between that and the turnaround time, I didn't want to risk spending too much longer waiting on the cards. Between the listed turnaround time and the shipping, I should be in good time for GenCon.
Here's the final designs:

I haven't really fixed myself to one logo design yet. I know I need to settle that, but I guess I'm waiting until I either feel a little more established, or until I have the cash to get a pro to do it. (Damnit Jim, I'm a character animator, not a typographer..) Right now, I think of it as either plain text, like on the back, or as just decorative art, like on the front. The white and the red tones draw it out, but the predominant yellow is in contrast with the purplish-grey background.
Also, this way, with only 250 count in, I can face everyone's scathing, horrendous criticism, laugh it off, and fix it next go-around. :D

Seriously, the design looks good. (I actually like the back of the card the best, 'cuz I just love that little dino...)
I know it's too late to do anything about it, but next time think about using only a max of two different fonts...I really don't think that many font styles looks right.

I know a lot of folks use the 24 Business Card places on the net and have success with 'em. Of course, the cheapest places sometimes don't have great tollerances for color and whatnot, but what do you want for finding the cheapest place possible? It's usually not a problem since few people hold one card up to the other and compare. ^.^
UV coated cards are so slick that sharpie markers won't even stick to 'em (we had a client here ask for UV coated gloss cards for a membership card... but either had to use grease markers or push pens through the coating in order to write on 'em.)
