uncertainty

i can't, i won't,
i utterly refuse,
to accept the fact,
that i have to lose,
i'm not giving up,
i'll never put it down,
i'll go down fighting,
in the final round,
one of these days,
i'll look back and laugh,
and then i'll smile,
at the future that i'll have,
but here in the present,
the question remains,
what am i thinking?
have i gone insane?
