So at this very second I'm lying down on my bed, with Microsoft Word out...but it's blank. I have another paper to write. A novel by Jeanette Winterson, and let me say, I'm not the type to enjoy love novels, but wow. Probably the best book I've read all semester and I have to write a paper about it, due tomorrow

Was the novel by any chance Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit? That's one of my favorite books ever.

no it was actually called Written on the Body. I've heard amazing things about that particular novel though.

I haven't read Written on the Body, but I read Gut Symatries and Powerbook (I think that's what it's called), but I was disappointed in them after Oranges, so I stopped reading Winterson for fear that I'd already read the best. Now I'll have to check out Written on the Body, and I highly recommend Oranges.
