That's right ladies and gents. I have in fact returned to LJ for one purpose only....I'm on a diet. Like, seriously, a diet. South Beach specifically. Good luck with the diet! If you're interested in running at all, the Couch 2 5k plan (just Google it) is a really good way to transition from walking to running. I used to only be able to run for about... oh, 2 minutes straight and now I can do 30. So, that sounds like an infomercial, but really, it's kind of nice and has helped me drop/keep off weight (when I'm good about staying up with it...)

Im right there with you babe...I just lost 10 lbs sticking to an odd conglomerate of dietary laws. My schedule is so insane that I refuse to adhere strictly to any diet because it only makes me crazier! However, I am working out more and possible splitting a personal trainer with 2 of my friends here. I wish you the best!!! please message me anytime you need support or really anytime at all. I have high blood pressure too, so that helps kick my but into gear on the weight losing. Especially when I attend classes at med school daily that highlight all the things that obesity and high blood pressure put you at risk for! Im just glad Im not a smoker....
