I think that this whole gift exchange is rediculous. Perhaps, I only think that because I got stuck with Goyle. I would rather buy something for the giant squid. I'm sure that I had I been paired with a friend I wouldn't feel this way. But Goyle?

I just don't get it...

If it's any consolation, I do not think we were paired up according to our personalities. Just get him cake. He seems to like that...

That's an excellent idea. The more his mouth is full the less we have to hear him attempt to talk.

I wish you luck, Leora.

Do you know if we have to walk around with our partners? Or go with out friends?

Thank you.

I hope not. I do not think I could stand spending the day with Goyle drooling over displays of cakes and such while we walk.

Aww, you poor thing Leora. I'm thankful I got Nikolas, he's so nice and lovely. I have no problem buying for him.

It's not that it would be terribly difficult to find something for him, I just don't want to.

I'd offer to switch but it seems neither of us had much luck in the gift-partner department.

Want to go shopping for our gifts together, then? Make a bitter task a bit sweeter?

That would be lovely Ryan.

I'll swap, if you'd like, Lenora.

Corner is a walking advertisement for some Muggle drug called "prozac" utterly depressing and I only wish I didn't have to drain myself attempting to think of something to get him, other than a life, that is.

Thank you for the offer, but I don't think we are allowed to switch. By the way, my name is Leora.

Well, perhaps we SHOULD be allowed to switch. Although perhaps it would defeat the purpose of the exercise.

Thank you for the correction - I sometimes have a tendancy to not pay attention to slight details such as the correct spelling, and indeed the correct name of people.

Yes, it would be nice if we were able to. However, I do not think that is an option.

Oh, that's quite alright.
