Yes, it's a muggle sport. From what Nikolas has told me and from what I've read, it involves trying to score a goal with a black and white ball that players kick around on a playing field. It's more complicated than I thought it would be.
From what I understand it can be dangerous at times. Sometimes people get run down and trampled over by other players on the field. I'm sure there is an amusement factor to it, but I'm also sure that it requires a certain amount of stamina.
I'm not sure if it's still that way or not, I haven't been in the great hall since yesterday, but the house tables are gone. They have been replaced with many little tables through out the great hall.
I can see what you mean about those tables, about trying to promote inter-house relations, Leora. But haven't you noticed people still group together in their little houses? I think it's a shame, I tried sitting at a table with some Gryffindor's the other day and just... wow, I could tell I was like some sort of 'intruder'.
Maybe some kind of seating roster could be worked out so students don't have a choice?
