Update On Socks

Socks has not been feeling so well lately. She has had diarrhea pretty much ever since I got her. I got back home from the Fremont Arts & Wine Festival today, which was a lot of fun by the way, to find out that she is still having problems. I am going to have my Father take her to the vet tomorrow to get checked out since I will be starting my

My pup had the same problem when I first got him. He had a pretty common parasite infection for young 'uns. A course of antibiotics fixed him right up. I had to bring a 'sample' to the vet, so you might want to be ready with that.

If she has diarrhea she HAS to get to the vet immediately. She may be losing water (dehydrating from it) very quickly, and thats horrible for a kitten.

Please, bring her today.

My Father took her to the vet yesterday. They gave him some w/d food and some Clavamox (antibiotics). I give both to her twice a day. The good news is that her results came back today and she does not have worms. I have been giving her plenty of water since I got her. I don't think it is dehydration. It seems like she is getting better.

BTW, they had taken a sample of her stool on Monday.
