I love my daughter.

Really.

But if she doesn't stop singing hymns in Latin? I think I may do something drastic.

Mallory, please, wait until we get to the church.

In my defense, they are all Christmas hymns. And you look very comfortable over there with Misty.

Although it's amusing that we are using this journal rather than you know talking across the room.

I like Misty. How is this a bad thing?

And might I point out that you're the one that commented?

It's not a bad thing. You two look perfectly contented on the couch. At least she's not after the presents again.

I am only defending myself old man. You posted and it makes the little icon on my desktop flash. I just happened to notice it.

Shall I start singing Silent Night in English again? Or may I go back to the Latin?

Don't you know any other songs? Christmas carols are pretty enough, but for the last six hours? Really, Mallory.

*Misty hops off his lap and runs into the other room*

Now where's she going?

*gets up to follow her*

Leo, I wouldn't recommend doing "something drastic" to your one and only daughter. Just because you act as though you're Scrooge himself doesn't mean the rest of us have to hide our Christmas spirit!

Merry Christmas, by the way. Hope yours is less of a disaster than ours has been.
