Intense reading

All I can ask myself after finishing Deathly Hallows is what in the world took me so long to re-read this book? It was utterly fabulous! And the fact that I wasn't suffering from sleep deprivation due to a midnight release party helped IMMENSELY in understanding the horcruxes and the hallows. So much more sense was made. I agree, the epilogue grew on me, too. Yeah, it was sappy, but it was nice to see that after everything Harry had been through, he got to have a happy and peaceful life. Although I will always roll my eyes at him naming his son Albus Severus. Ginny should've put a stop to that. :P

LOL! yeah, but just think, at least he didn't combine them in some weird combination of Alsevbus or something Twilight-ish!

Yeah, make the doozy of a name the middle name and give the kid a regular first name! I totally had to double check on wikipedia to see if this was the oldest kid, but it's the middle one and that sucks even more. Bad enough to be the middle kid, worse to be the only one to have a weird name. I'm sure Dumbledore wouldn't mind Albus being his middle name.

At least they just call him Al! And I suppose there are enough wizards around with crazy names that perhaps Albus Severus wouldn't be too odd in their world (although I still think it's weird Harry named a child after a guy who only ever acted like a complete asshole to him). The sentimentality behind all the names (James Sirius, Albus Severus, Lily Luna) totally amuses me, though -- if they'd had another daughter I wouldn't have been surprised if they'd named her Hedwig!
