Funny, because I thought that "Private Practice" was just like a typical episode of "Grey's Anatomy", but I've got to admit that you're right when you say that the emotional attachment to the new characters is missing. But actually you can't really expect to have one yet, because Shonda created it only along the way. I'm going to give the spin-off a chance when it gets picked up. Now I'm still not really enthusiastic about it, because at the moment I think that it's just another soapy medical drama, but I'll give it the chance to create its own identity apart from "Grey's Anatomy" and I will watch the first couple of episodes

Hi! Well, yeah, I'm not saying I'll NEVER like Private Practice, but just none of the characters stood out for me... I mean, in Grey's, I immediately liked most of the cast: George, Cristina, Izzie, Bailey, you know! But here the people just seemed to be basically pretty [and, as I said, all the men horny, and all the woman whiney (and a little horny)]. And the storylines didn't do it for me either. But anyway, keep me updated please - if the episodes get better, I MIGHT consider to download them. :)
I agree that Grey's is getting a bit frustrating as well. I SO hate Gizzie!!!!!
HIMYM is totally awesome, although I have to admit I didn't care for Arrivederci, Fiero. Fortunately I did like Moving Day, and Bachelor Party was OK as well. And I still have to see Showndown. :)
Yeah, I live REALLY close to Ghent, so that was the logical choice for me.
And you study Latin and English! That's pretty cool! I thought of studying Latin or Greek or English myself (well, I considered it briefly, LOL). I do think Classical Antiquity is very interesting though. :)
And no, I only know like one other person who's from Flanders here - and no one I know IRL.
