If at all possible, try to watch Planet Earth in HD. Or Blu-Ray. Trust me, it makes all the difference, and it's astounding.

I saw the third disc on blu-ray. It was fantastic. My little computer doesn't do a bad job, though. I prefer watching movies on my computer (than the TV) anyway.

I'd agree with the 3 stars on The Holiday. It was cute, but a little odd at times. Jon and I watched Running With Scissors. It was sort of like a train wreck you couldn't stop watching. I wouldn't say it was amazing, a little hard to swallow. It was ok.
