Q1/ Is there anyone/anything you wish to thank?
I would like to give a big shout out to the year two thousand and seven. At first you looked like you were going to produce a similar poor performance to 2006. But then in late January you wowed audiences and critics with a bold thematic change. I personally found the “giving David a full-time job

Q4 - There were heaps of Leopards
Q5 - Good call, never a bad thing.
Q10 - Umm, no. I don't think so. I think your premise is incorrect. I don't think it says that's when he created them, just that he sent one at that time.

I mean realistically it has just rained and the sun has come out... Rainbows are a given, surely? There is no symbolic significance in showing people a rainbow after it has rained, in fact the gesture would have been completely missed. God would have had to have come down and explain it to everyone, just like a really lame joke.
On the other hand, a magnificent rainbow with the addition of a brand new blue sky, with a gorgeous sunset as the following act; would have been a pretty spectacular miracle and somewhat hard to miss.
Of course god might still have to come down and explain what he means by it, but at least no one thinks he is lame now.

Lets say there was about 1000 years in between Adam and Eve and Noah - they just happened to have a differently composed atmosphere that produced a completely different appearance of sky?
If you read Genesis 9, God does exlain what he means about his covenant and "bow in the sky", in detail and repeatedly. It doesn't suggest any intuition on the part of the people. God says "I have set my bow in the cloud... When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant that is between me and you". There's no suggestion that they've never seen it before or that things were different before... they obviously knew what clouds were before then. They might not have seen the rainbow before. I don't think the goes one way or the other on that and to say that it does is reading too much into it.
