Grimm has managed to swallow so much air he has turned himself into a living life vest... he now has a massive belly full of air and can hardly budge from the surface... it's so sad. I hope he burps it all up soon

I must admit I got a little squicked when I read that description of your fish. :x I hope he gets better because I don't want to have to read an entry about an exploding fish. :P
Sorry about your mom. If it were me, I'd put her in a hospital to make sure she was getting her meds, but that's just me. I know where you can get a clone of yourself, but it'll take about 20 years for it to mature and look like you do now. At which time you'll be 40, and your parents would have come to visit by then.
Upon closer inspection, my plan does you no good. :(
Grin and bear it. Then get pissed drunk. Or pig out on Ice dreams. Or keep saying to yourself, "Tomorrow is only a day away..."

You and your damn cookies. They didn't do your goldfish any good, now did they? Mwahahaha-- uh, never mind. Grimm's better now. He burped up the air. And his food. So no bettas erupting like Pop Rocks over here.
For some reason they won't put Mama in a hospital, aside from 1-week stays at Northside and such. Things insurance will cover. Maybe it's the cost that prevents it. Though I think Daddy worries about her more when she's hospitalized than when she's at home. I dunno. At least they'll only be here an hour or two.
Pissed drunk... *le sigh* Your ways are not my ways. :D
