Mmm. Well, I had to take it. The first time I took it, I had to do a tiebreaker between Anakin and what I suspect was Yoda. There was NO way I was taking Anakin... so I end up with this. Eh. At least she's nice. :)
Me, Andrew and Jen went to the Star Wars premiere last night. Waaaaaay better than the first two, but still subpar to the originals. If they had gotten another actor to play Anakin (come on-- that Hayden dude is so... so-- blah... he looks like Jonathan Brandis on steroids and is half as interesting), had omitted the gratuitous Jar-Jar cameo at the last FRIGGIN' second, and had avoided the Frankenstein overtones to Darth Vader's cybernetic resurrection-- then it would have rocked. Anakin's moral confusion wasn't particularly... convincing. The script was lacking, but the actor didn't help. R2-D2 and Yoda were awesome though. And Anakin's final fall where he loses his legs... that freaked me out. Props to the special effects people. I would pay the matinee price to see it again-- but not $7.50. Unless Andrew were treating. :3
We have internet at the apartment! The DSL equipment won't come for a few more days though... so it's AOL for now. *glares in unhappy recollection of AOL customer service*
Daddy claims he and Mommy are coming up tomorrow-- finally. And tomorrow afternoon Jen, Andrew, and I are taking Melody to Andrew's vet to get her sutures removed at last... assuming they haven't grown into her skin. o.O And hopefully we'll get her claws trimmed so she won't get them caught up in the carpet anymore while she learns how to wield them. She has learned how to get on the counter though... bah kitty, bah bah kitty. :3 And she licked up the pasta sauce on my plate when I wasn't looking. Sneaky ickle Hitler.
