Nothing much going on. Bug Day at the museum was last Saturday; I worked the so-called Fear Factor Feast table serving things like superworm tempura and chocolate chirp cookies. The photographer for the Macon Telegraph showed up and did the usual unnerving clickity-clicking in people's faces while they were trying to eat bugs... then attempted to ( Read more... )

Not that I know of... my high school got fruit flies for a genetics experiment from Carolina Biological. But CB also sells bugs to individuals for whatever the hell they want-- including cooking and eating them. There's not much on a fruit fly to eat... though you could covertly stick them in fried rice, or even spaghetti... and no one would know. Mwahahahahahaha!!

Exactly my thought! Or like the little green leafy things in spaghetti sauce, or just coarsely ground 'pepper.'
