Alas, Melody is gone to Florida with Jen, and I won't be seeing either of them for 3-4 months. It was odd last night, not having to leave the window open for the kitty, and this morning, not hearing her railing for food or petting or trying to weasel into my closet. It wasn't empty-nest syndrome, but there was a definite sense of 'Bummer, my roomie
