Have you realized that, because of your brother, 100 points had been deducted? We're already behind Hufflepuff and Gryffindor; how do you expect to compensate for this loss? It's an inconvenience not just Wolfram, and your family, but to the whole house who worked hard to earn those points. An apology isn't enough.
Unfortunately, an apology is all I can offer as of right now. Make no mistake that I enjoy even toying with the though of losing to those Houses, however I also cannot keep my little brother on a leash. I am very disappointed and embarrassed by my little brother's actions.
Perhaps, if everyone is inconvenienced by this loss of points, we should all work together even harder to get ahead. Although there isn't that much time left.
Cannot keep him on a leash? Nonsense, your wording is wrong. You can keep him on a leash, you just don't want to.
As for embarassment, I can sympathize. It's natural for a proud man, even I'd feel the same if something remotely similar happened to me.
Perhaps, but don't neglect the fact that the other houses go the same pace as us; if we can earn a hundred this week at most, they'll earn somewhere along the lines of eighty. It's a good strategy, working up little by little, but can only work when the factor that is time is present, as you've mentioned.
If someone, by chance, does something incredible and make up for the loss of points, it would certainly be splendid... but the probability of that is quite... miniscule, is it not?

We are Slytherins, we can do better than simply a twenty point difference between the other Houses.
If anyone can do something incredible, I'm sure it would be you, Rosemarine.
Next year, indeed.
