I am saddened that Battleship sunk like a stone so that there won't be Battleship 2: The Aliens realise they've been conned. (Seriously? You can send interstellar ships to earth, but your entire plan of ultimate domination depends on one single satellite relay station? Whatever happened to back up plans? Lines of communication? Not quite sure why

There were Vikings but they DID NO VIKING THINGS. Admittedly they talked of raiding Russia but TALK IS CHEAP. WHERE ARE THE RANSACKED MONASTERIES AND NUNNERIES? WHERE ARE THEIR BOATS? All they had was one boat and a lord who refused to believe England existed.

At least they were smart and didn't raid Russia. I cry foul at only one boat. Obviously the budget for this show is not large. You cannot go raiding with only one boat.

There was more bloody Viking mayhem in other episodes but the main actor is a total waste. He has great abs but little acting ability. George Blagden, who was in Les Miz, plays an English Monk and he's pretty good as is the woman who plays the wife of Viking #1. The actor who plays King Horik in the last 2 episodes has the worst accent that I have heard in a long time.

Historical accuracy - ummm... maybe a 5 or 6. HIgh points for kick ass beautiful women. Low points for grungy, hairy and pathetically bad Viking men.
