Oh man, this fic contains all of my favourite things. Franziska/Adrian, loser siblings, Franziska actually being awkward about something, gay lawyers, discussions of relationships. It's utterly wonderful, and you should definitely be writing more often! I really like your take on Adrian's parents, because it's nice that she gets to be happy like that, and that Franziska easily fits in-which kind of made Franziska thinking about her own father all the more heartbreaking. I also love how she's able to blazingly go in there and declare that she's Adrian's SO so easily and straightforwardly, and yet is at a complete lack of (coherent) words when it comes to Edgeworth. It shows that what he thinks is important to her, even though she'd never admit it, and probably doesn't realise how much.

As to what Franziska was getting at, well, it was probably something relating to this.

And them double dating would most likely never happen, but oh my God, how glorious would it be if it did.

If they did double date, it would probably come around without any of them realising that they were being set up for it. You know, Adrian becomes friends with Maya after the precious urn incident, Maya notices that Adrian is on friendly terms with Phoenix, eventually finds out that she's dating Franziska, and, well, Franziska is Edgeworth's sister, after all, so maybe the four of them would like to meet up for a dinner party... Well, you get the idea!

This was one of the sweetest and most IC things I've read in ages.

Not to mention, a fair deal of my headcanon is in there; Franziska's independence and issues with becoming involved with someone, both she and Miles being gay, and Miles and Phoenix... I loved it.

Your focus on the little details, too-- the silence, Franziska chopping up her dessert and he awkwardness-- really made it easy to visualise, and it was just lovely. :)
