a.i like how you bury the imporatnt things in the middle of the every day things b. polariod...ugh. goddamn it. c. im not afraid to love scenes from an italian restaurant. b. i go to mass art in boston, its pretty darn cheap, but also i have learned some things about artists/art. a lot of people at my school came as adults in their 20s. i think its better to go to school at a later age the brits have it right with their Gap year, or multiple years. esp. when you're taking up a specific trade, its better to have a lot of life experience under your belt there are so many people who are lost and aren't turning out quality work. you are obviously very talented i cant see why making connections/getting into shows locally would be an issue, in the mean time. go for it, draw every day. be your own school. show your work to whoever will look at it. eventually they will see what they are missing and give you tons of money...and then fame. hha yess truth!
heh, thanks for replying.and the talented compliment.i have 2 boxes(40 shots) of polaroid film left.i'm thinking about taking one picture a year for 40 more years. i've heard a lot about yr school,it's pretty big right? and it's close to SMFA?off-topic,but is smfa a good school? yeah,i guess i'm not feeling as badly about it now that i'm kind of formulating a semi-plan for next year, and if all goes well, maybe i won't ever have to go to art school.and yeah, since probably september i have been drawing, every single day.more so now, that i feel if i don't i'll be a worthless deadbeat because that's what i 'do' and i'm not going to school for it,so i feel like i have to work even harder. i can't wait for the money and famn.i mean fame and money.because the money isn't as important as the fame,if as important at all, because maybe there'll be no student loans.ever.
you tell it. and hi lorena!i haven't talked to you in forever!how are you?do you ever talk to/see adam finken anymore?i saw him like 3 years ago but that's pretty much it.anyways, how are you?
So yesterday I was hopping from vegan blog to another and I found yours. I fell in love. I pretty much lick the screen because everything you make looks so amazing! Not to mention you're so talented with art! I totally love the things you create. I've already looked at most of your pictures and I don't understand how you wouldn't become famous... also your drawings remind me a lot of my favorite artist, Egon Schiele, check his stuff out, it's great.
